| 2007 was a busy, full, and very wonderful year for me! Although I did not realize it at the time it held a lot of "last times" for me. It's a sad and happy feeling looking back! I am so grateful as I see how God worked in my life this past year! Now a brief history before I tell you about my 2008...towards the end of the summer 2007 I felt God telling me that He was going to move me on to something new in the new future, but I had no clue when or to what. So, this has been on my mind for a while. Well only 3 weeks ago God began that change. I had really come to a point of desperation and then felt that God was saying that I was trying to make the change happen on my own and not letting Him move the mountain in my life, so I totally surrendered it to Him. Three days later I was on the phone about a job...WOW! God is so amazing and faithful!
Lots more details, but here is the short version...I got the job and I'm leaving Oak Brook, IL in less than 2 weeks and moving to Knoxville, TN to work for the University of Tennessee in their Conference & Events Office!!! I'll be doing just what I wanted to do and learning many other new things and only 5 hours away from my family!

| Well, I just got back home to Chicago from doing the Indianapolis ATI Conf CI! We had 180 kids, 35 teachers, and way more fun than a person should be allowed to have! I don't know if I have laughed so much in all my life!
This summer has truly flown by with going to Big Sandy, TX, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sacramento, CA, Dallas, TX, and Indianapolis, IN...and does not even slow down for me yet...yes the CI season is drawing to a close, but life still whizzes by! I am looking ahead at the next two months and they are already full...many things happening and I'm excited, but hope I don't overdo it! haha! Anyways, you have to enjoy it while you can, so go all out!
God really is teaching me some things right now...it's hard, but good! First off, contentment with what He has given me...this is everything, family, friends, home, clothing, vehicle...EVERYTHING! He is also teaching me to look for the good in life...He created the world and all that was in it and He said it was not just good, but VERY good...if He said this, then I should not have such a hard time finding joy and good things in my life! He is so wonderful to me!!!
That's all for now...toodles!

| Hey! We are in Singapore this week. The last week in a half in Malaysia was really awesome! We have really seen God do some amazing stuff and know He has some really neat stuff in store! We are almost over the sickness and people are doing so much better. Being in Singapore this week is really a nice time in between going to Indonesia. I'm having a blast and am so grateful for all of your prayers!!! We can totally feel them. I think the main thing that we are seeing here is that God is teaching us all that we cannot do anything on our own strength! I have never felt God's strength so evidently in my life as on this trip! When I think that I can't go on, he carries me on another minute, and then another, until the day is over and I'm in awe of His wonderful grace to me!!! Wish I could actually express this in words, but they just don't do anything justice! You just have to experience it yourself! We have a totally incredible team!!! They work together so well and all for the same goal...to bring God the glory and our out His love to everyone that they meet! I'm praising the Lord! Anna | | |
